A sip of espresso + why I believe in angels

Yesterday I was out downtown and we thought we could have a cappuccino. We got out and it was pretty amazing for December: 8-9C' and almost a clear, blue sky. Of course, if you ask me, that's not normal and something 's  going on, but that's another story.

As we were hitting the coffee shop , I thought to change cappuccino and try an espresso instead. I knew it was stronger, and although diluted with water, it was still strong, but very tasty. I drank about half of the cup, while my husband was having a cappuccino. We hit back our home and I didn't felt the espresso effects until very late in the night: I wasn't feeling agitated in any way, but hour after hour have passed until I noticed it's 4:52AM! While still having an hour of sleep between midnight and 1 o'clock, at 5:50 I've manage to fall asleep again, this time thinking in my mind that I'm going to sleep until 9 AM...at least.

But no. At 6:40AM I woke up again, this time feeling more agitated than before. I already knew the reason for not being able to sleep, but I was totally blown by the fact that my pulse was slightly accelerated after abruptly waking up, as if I was having a nightmare. I know what I was dreaming, and it wasn't something scary. I then remembered that I recently {like yesterday!} saw a tv show where they were talking about angels and how angels can help us. (If you read my Romanian blog, you probably know that recently I've painted an angel in my art journal).
In the tv show, one of the people invited in the show was talking about connecting with our angels. He said that each and everyone of us have an guardian angel and we should first try to connect to our angel instead of praying directly to God. Not that praying to God is something wrong, but angels can bring our souls closer to the divine understanding.

I put my hands closer and begin to talk to my angel. It didn't last long, because my throat was hurting, so I decided to "speak" with my thoughts. I continued talking to my angel and asking to show me what is to be done in this situation, how can I calm my pulse and get rid of the  bacterial infection I believe is causing my pain in the throat, and in less than 10 minutes my pulse went down to normal and I felt so relaxed. Of course, I set myself to relax my muscles and my whole body. Of course, you may say it's a coincidence , and that you don't believe in angels. That is totally up to you. But I know that with angels or without angels, we can control the body processes, like body temperature, pulse and getting rid of light headaches. I know that because I did it only by thinking I am doing this and my body reacted accordingly to what my mind dictated. If you don't believe that, then look for the book "Mind over body" and you will see what the recent discoveries are saying. Oh, and by the way, the book was written by a Ph. Doctor in medicine.

The fabulous Lipstick

My new addiction, the red-glitter lipstick from Yves Roches, the Semi-mat, long-wear lipstick, only that I have the glitter version that looks incredible to wear in the New Year's Eve Party! What do you think? What is your favourite?

Oh, and what about the apple delight collection in limited edition? I want that candle in my living room, to light the Christmas table when all the family is sitting around!

Sweet Christmas treats are also to take into consideration as a Christmas gift:

Horay! Today it's my birthday!

I've been expecting this for a long time. Actually dreamed about it. If I ever I forgot about it, there was always something to remind me about it!

When I was 18 I've received as a birthday gift a bottle of perfume. Was my first perfume ever, so maybe I'm sentimental and that's why I like it so much, but ever since then there was something missing. Of course, I had other scents and some were really close to this one, BUT was not THIS ONE.
Today I've received my bottle of cologne with the vanilla scent inside. Vanilla Fields, to be precisely! yeey! I was jumping with happiness with this bottle in one hand and with the package in the other. Then I've tried on my hand and here's the joy: it smells THE SAME as I remember it more than 10 years ago! I had to order it on-line, because here you cannot find it in stores. I read the reviews left on the product site, and some of the people were saying there this perfume can be found at the gas stations! No way, Jose! Not here, anyway! I guess the person was from United States, because he was talking like there's no way he would buy this perfume on-line. The fact is that I never ordered perfumes on-line, but this was the ONLY place where I've found it - and because I wanted this SO MUCH, I said I should give it a try! I even thought that I'll wait almost a month for the product to arrive from USA in Europe, but the truth is that I got this in 12 days! yeey again! ;-)

I love the scent of vanilla, and even if it's a cologne and doesn't last that much, I am happy I can have this on my skin and wear it everyday! Once I've tested and saw that I'm not allergic to this, I couldn't be more happy! I was afraid that I may be allergic, because I've been through this with hair dye, body lotion and other stuff, so I was a little worried about this, but Saint God it's OK!

Today wasn't really my birthday, but I've ordered this perfume on my birthday as a b/d present! But anyway, I consider every day is a new day that I can make MY DAY!

Hugs,
Love

The beauty and the pain

Wonder: why people feel the pain so differently? Is there a link between the body and the mind?! Are those who believe are stronger, stronger then the others?!

I had to see the dentist for so many times and I had so many problems with my teeth, but every time I went to see the doctor and the procedure implied an injection to calm the pain, I was told that I have a better reception to pain. Why is that? It is known that when you're afraid of the procedure you tend to feel the pain even more badly than actually it feels. And I Believe it's true, even if last time I saw my dentist he told me that I'm going to feel more pain with the paladin injection, it wasn't like that at all: the pain was as usual, just a pinch and that was all! ;-)

Little bit of this, little bit of that

We all have dreams, and hopes, and wishes, and we all hope that this or that is going just the way we want it to be. But sometimes you don't get what you want. Sometimes your way is full with surprises, not always pleasant. And when you get that, you tend to blame the destiny or you call yourself a bad-luck person. BUT the fact is that you get what you deserve in life, and if you go out load and all you can give is misfortune and bad thoughts, guess what you're about to receive back?!

I have that fall over the stairs and I'm recovering pretty well and fast after it. At least, I think so. I went to see the doctor and the doctor didn't recomemnd to go and do a x-ray. But I'm going to see her again this Thursday and ask her (again) if it's really not the case to run some x-ray. I'm not a doctor (just yet!), but I can say I'm better then the other day. I have a light pain, which I think it's pretty normal, talking into consideration the fall and the area where it's located. After all, we are talking about my spine here. And the spine supports all the body, all the moves, all the reactions. I am LUCKY, LUCKY, LUCKY! I am tell you this once more BECAUSE I really definitively feel that way. I can walk and I walk pretty good and pretty fast, I just don't want to make any rush movements to put in jeopardy my already damaged spine.

I can say and see this is happening for a reason: all my life I've being trying to figure it out what is what I need to do to be happy, to fulfil my dreams, my wishes, my goal. And yes, this is the problem, I do NOT know what is my personal goal. And nobody can actually find it for me. I have to do it by myself. There are - yes - people that help you recognize your goal, your wishes (yeah, some of us don't even know what they wish for!), your goals and so on. BUT they cannot tell you what to choose, or if they do so, they are broking the holy individual right of being objective, they are broking the law of arbitration by which every single person on this Earth should only choose for himself and not let others decide for him, letting aside children or disorder people. Even though I believe children should also choose for themselves, parents or tutors being the ones that help them decide, but only by seeing what the kid actually wants and have a  gift for, not guiding the little one driven by the parents interests, wishes (to become a doctor, for example), etc.

I'm leaving you with this: Live your life as you want it to be lived now, and don't wait any other moment. Don't wait for tomorrow, for the perfect house, perfect job, perfect husband or wife, perfect marriage (I've heard that too!) or perfect WHAT-SO-EVER! You LIVE FOR NOW, don't waste any minute. And when I say that I mean to live by the good laws of mankind: be kind, be honest, be open, be friendly, do no harm, be magnificent! Be whatever you want to be, just don't hurt other people, because it may come right after you at some point, when you least expect!

how it feels to be in a flap

Was still rainging when we got home. My mother insisted that we should go in spite of the nervous rainy drops that were rushing washing the street. She was afraid that the water may find its way to our cellar and that we would have to work to dry it up. ..again. Because that was not the first time when she was afraid. Not the first time to have water in there. She still thinks that water will come in and she'll have to work it out.
Luckly, th sun came up after a while when the rain seemed not to stop for at least a few hours. But no! we have sun again and even so, I feel sleepy. I woke up at 7Am after going to bed at 1AM...uhhh, I thought I'm going to sleep until 8:30 or so to get to my 10AM appointment I had to the nutritionist this morning, but got up way too early.

Earlier I had a fight with my mum. Everything begun from the fact that I'm not capble to fix my room "as it should be", or at least as she thinks it should be fixed. I'm young. And still living with my parents. Not that young for that. And sometimes I feel I should do something about it, like take a poor job, move somewhere with my b/f and see what comes from this. I even think to start a vc job. Maybe something good (money) will come from this. But I have to do this on a regular basis and I feel I cannot do it like this. It seems too boring for me, to vanny, to clever to twist men's mind in order to get a pay per mint. Find it somehow outgrageous even they know what they are paying for. Anyway, this is the problem, I have to move on. Have to clean all the stuff in my life, have to move it on, throw all the unnecessary things to garbage, try not to bring new un-necessary ones, have to figure it out whether I want a baby now or I want to start working somewhere outside the contry. I don't know. That come thru my mind so many times and my b/f is so encouraging me to do it, that I almost feel I can actually do it. And why wouldn't I? I'm a can do person. I ought to be. ;-) After all, if you think you can do it, you can really do it. And my b/f wants to join me in this journey.

what's with this back pain?

After all, today may be a rainy day after the day it started with a lot of sun smiling at my happy face. :-) I woke up early, at 7:30Am and got my b/f into shape for a new day of work! Then we had some breakfast, put some clothes on and hit the door. We actually step outside with a coffee {vanilla and caramelo} frappe in mind, and end up on a fancy terrace down town. It was nice, but not very quiet. The cars were running by making a lot of noise, but we just had our coffee and smile to the world.

Well, the things are not that pinky as I painted them to be, but at least we try out best. My b/f is frustrated because of work, I'm in the middle of a job requiting and I have to pass some tests before they accept me for this job, we are planning to go on vacantion this summer - twice actually - and we are very tight with the money: he wants to leave this job and stay focused only on web-design presentations, to take some small jobs and make a portofolio so he can later rely on the earnings from this job. But it's catchy, because as soon as he will leave his actual job, he will be out of money for a while - or at least with a very few he saved for this - and he is worried about this: what if he's not going to make it, what is he is not capable to undergo this and so on. He is even thinking that I may be leaving him because he has no money! That's a totally bullsh#t and I had to assure him that everything is  going to be fine, he doesn't need to be worry about this. I haven't told him this, but he really made me feel bad and unconfortable saying and believing that!

What I'm worried about now is my back pain. I got this pain from about 5 days now and I suppose is because of my computer working and inactivity. I'm not a sporty person and I don't know if I'll ever be, but at least I should try to move my ass more ofter in the park, jogging and stuff. But I just can't do this all by myself. I need somebody to be with me ...anyway, this is not a good moment to start running here and there, not until I get to see my doctor and find out what the huch is going on and most of all ---- what is to be done!  Oh! and another thing. Yesterday I had my blood tests done and I can wait for the results. Unlikely, I'm not scared, but anxious to find out the result and take action - if needed. I'm saying that because of my 80-90% raw food diet that I'm taking from about 4 months now (4 months on 11.05.2011). I just realised now that are 4 months, and not 3! God! I hope I can still eat some fish sometimes. Anyway, because I was affraid or not, I just had some cheese from time to time, very little few pieces of cheese. It was OK I huess since I was not in stomach pain and the next day (after eating that) I eat only raw food. But the thing is that I want to eat some eggs and cheese from time to time, let's say once at 2-3 weeks or so.
That's OK from now. I got a terrible back pain (but I'm sure there are pains worse than what I feel right now~) and I'll just run from the computer! lol~

Long enought!

I haven't write a line in here and I can barely find my words. I was away from panic attacks and I'm so happy about this. We are going through spring and my body is in a very good shape. I feel joy and I wanna share it with you too.

Lately {January 2011} I've discovered the power of raw food. I know the most of you aren't aware of this subject and maybe you never heard about it, but I can tell you it feels soooo good for the body! When you begin to eat raw food {fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts} you body starts to feel this change and what you get back from this is a GREAT health, great body shape, great skin condition, great smile&spirit, long shiny hair, hard strong nails and SO ON. I'm so happy about this you can't even imagine!

I won't bother you with details, the internet is full with all kind of information and advices you can check, but I'm going to tell you one thing: YOU GOTTA be prepared for this and MAKE SURE you're on your right way, because if you try this raw diet for a {very} long and then you come back to cooked food, you may even die! For example, one patient died after she tried boiled potatoes, that's because potatoes contain one toxic farina-starch that will harm so much the intestinal transit that can even block it! So be careful!

See you soon!
