Wet and Cold Autumn
Long days of summer are long gone now. The wet and cold autumn is finally almost settled in and we are expecting cold temperatures. In fact, wet and cold are two best describing words right now. And colds are in, too.
It's been two weeks since a cold is haunting me, and somehow has put its dirty hands on me four days ago. And since I'm expecting, I can only rely on natural medicine and other not so harmful remedies.
But even with this cold in my given situation, I still can be grateful for all that I have in my life right now. It's easy to forget the good stuff once you've facing obstacles in your life. I don't want to lose gratitude, though.
At the moment I'm fighting with mucus and it gets pretty hard to breath without coughing all the tine. My nose is full with mucus and I thought this is getting better, but what do I know?! I can only hope it will pass soon, coz I have another two missing sleep hours this night, too! And I really need sleep this period of my life...
I'll try to get some sleep and tomorrow I might be back with some art I've done lately.
much love,

Welcome, 2015!
2015 is here already! And we have to make it worth in every second! I can tell you that 2014 was a great year for me, but 2015 is going to be magnificent! I know that for a fact, because I have a strong feeling about it!

A sip of espresso + why I believe in angels
Yesterday I was out downtown and we thought we could have a cappuccino. We got out and it was pretty amazing for December: 8-9C' and almost a clear, blue sky. Of course, if you ask me, that's not normal and something 's going on, but that's another story.
As we were hitting the coffee shop , I thought to change cappuccino and try an espresso instead. I knew it was stronger, and although diluted with water, it was still strong, but very tasty. I drank about half of the cup, while my husband was having a cappuccino. We hit back our home and I didn't felt the espresso effects until very late in the night: I wasn't feeling agitated in any way, but hour after hour have passed until I noticed it's 4:52AM! While still having an hour of sleep between midnight and 1 o'clock, at 5:50 I've manage to fall asleep again, this time thinking in my mind that I'm going to sleep until 9 AM...at least.
But no. At 6:40AM I woke up again, this time feeling more agitated than before. I already knew the reason for not being able to sleep, but I was totally blown by the fact that my pulse was slightly accelerated after abruptly waking up, as if I was having a nightmare. I know what I was dreaming, and it wasn't something scary. I then remembered that I recently {like yesterday!} saw a tv show where they were talking about angels and how angels can help us. (If you read my Romanian blog, you probably know that recently I've painted an angel in my art journal).
In the tv show, one of the people invited in the show was talking about connecting with our angels. He said that each and everyone of us have an guardian angel and we should first try to connect to our angel instead of praying directly to God. Not that praying to God is something wrong, but angels can bring our souls closer to the divine understanding.
I put my hands closer and begin to talk to my angel. It didn't last long, because my throat was hurting, so I decided to "speak" with my thoughts. I continued talking to my angel and asking to show me what is to be done in this situation, how can I calm my pulse and get rid of the bacterial infection I believe is causing my pain in the throat, and in less than 10 minutes my pulse went down to normal and I felt so relaxed. Of course, I set myself to relax my muscles and my whole body. Of course, you may say it's a coincidence , and that you don't believe in angels. That is totally up to you. But I know that with angels or without angels, we can control the body processes, like body temperature, pulse and getting rid of light headaches. I know that because I did it only by thinking I am doing this and my body reacted accordingly to what my mind dictated. If you don't believe that, then look for the book "Mind over body" and you will see what the recent discoveries are saying. Oh, and by the way, the book was written by a Ph. Doctor in medicine.

Tonal painting
Hey guys! How are you? I been trying to post more often here, like maybe every day, but yesterday I had a super-crazy day and all my time went in so many directions. You cannot control when your sister enters labor and you cannot control rain and not even a flood in the basement. But you can control your nerves while trying to do them all perfectly! :)
I have posted a photo with this project on Instagram, and then never said a thing about it. I know you're curious to see how that page turned out, so here is how I started.
This time, my page was blank. I was inspired by some angelical drawing and paintings I saw on YouTube and wanted to try myself and see if I can do this. In the end, the result is not as I expected, but I still love her!
This time I don't have that many photos with the process. I guess I was too absorbed into it to stop and take photos. Maybe next time, and believe me, it will be a next time!
In no time, from those watercolor and ink splashes I ended up with this little creature on my journal page. Imagine I left my brushes and colors on the table and did my daily chore and then returned to her and started to paint again.
But painting becomes even more beautiful when you do it between the lines, when you barely have time and there are lots of other things going on around you. Or maybe this is just me, this time I could just concentrate on this page and not thinking too much about the rest. But most of the time I love working in silence, without interruptions and all that. But who doesn't, ha? :)
Open your heart for this creature! I don't know how to call her. It has some wing, but it doesn't really looks like an angel wing, so I don't know what to say. I call it a creature, a fantastic, unreal creature of my imagination. Isn't it what we are artists do when painting? When it comes to mixed media and art journals, we create something that only exists in our imagination.
I think this is called tonal painting, but I'm not quite sure. I just find this style very appealing.
I did some journaling on the right side of the drawing, I felt that the page needed some explanations when I come to her later on.
Please take a moment and tell me what you think of this creature :) I would Love to hear from you!

The documented Life Project - Week 1
Have also posted about my week 1 journal on my Bubblews account.
YEY! here's week 1 from the documented life project! I'm behind with posting about it, the project is already on week 4, but as I told you I have done all the three previous weeks. Here is week 1!
For the week one we were supposed to paint, draw or attach a photo with the front door. My door pattern is pretty hard to draw, so I've tried to draw it as simple as possible. Oh yeah, I gotta tell you this was a real challenge for me! Still, this is the original door pattern, and I'm more then happy with the result. When I first started to draw it, I didn't thought it's going to come out so beautifully!
I did sketch after a photo I wanted to attach here, but I've decided not to. The illustration should be enough to make an idea about it.
When I've started to add color, I could see the whole picture with color and everything turned into a beautiful illustration! I sure have to create other sketches and paint them with watercolor, it was so relaxing painting this, even if it took me more than one day, giving the fact that I had to stop multiple times.
But it doesn't really matter, as long as I managed to finish it up! What do you think of it? Are you part of the documented life project? :)
I also wrote about the documented Life on Bubblews.

Journaling my life
It is true that I have been journaling and not posting a thing in here. I did wrote many articles, but not necessary about my art journaling creations. And totally left this place with no interesting posts to read.
Recently I've created this cute face on my A5 Canson Journal I bought from Barcelona this summer. I wanted to create something simple and still beautiful, and as I didn't had too much time to work on her face, I've choose to use watercolors and oil pastels.
First I've started with some stamping, one flower stamp that belongs to a 3D stamp set, used all over again changing direction of use. Then I went and filled in some color with the oil pastels. I have covered the whole flower petals, but next time I'm going to leave some petals blank and run with watercolors over it. This was the next step, water-coloring the pages with different colors, with lots of water and sprays. Once you get the desired result, let it dry. Or use a heat gun if you can't wait that long ;)
After applying the background, you'll need to draw the face and hair and also fill in some shadows and highlights for the face and neck.

I did her face free-hand without worrying about the result. The result came out pretty interesting and I decided to try another girl with the same technique.

Et voila! The finish product with some text added and the pages are ready to be loved and appreciated.

And hope you all have a great magnificent year!
We have enjoyed a super new year's party with lots of laugh and delicious food, and I only went to bed at 6AM, when I was more than exhausted!

After 6 hours, I was on my feet again and thought ...why not start 2013 doing something that I truly love and enjoy? So I took my sewing tool and started to sew on this new collar I'm working at these days: a soft pink with silver inserts, gorgeous to wear when spring comes in town. ;)

Celebrating happiness - letter of the week 13
![]() |
| Photo source {this is Bucharest, Romania by night} |
Christmas is gone! flew away! Vanish! I can't imagine how this time flies and another year is just about to end. I don't want to get melodramatic, but the truth is that I have o idea how a single day goes by, what's to say about a whole year?!
I wanted to do so much, I've done so little. I've always wanted more and more and in return I only got what I've deserved: a little bit of this, a little bit of that and most important, the feeling that I am love. Had to deal with 2 accidents, both domestic, one fall and another one collapse. The feeling that I am not myself anymore. The fact that I had my smile with me all the time {except the moments when I really felt I had to cry} helped me to see the bright side of every situation. And I say I am a positive thinker, but most of a time I'm pretty much a pessimistic one. Not helpless, not without dreams. I am a believer. I believe in truth and in good deeds. They will come in return one day, so do no harm. Love the others like you love yourself. Help people discover the beauty of life, coz life is really truly beautiful. It's magnificent! In every way! Life is a gift we should treasure.
2012. I grew up. Grow stronger. Learned many lessons, but the most important of all is to love. And when I say to love I mean not to love only your lover, wife/husband, kid/s, friends and family, but to love ALL human beings. All beings. I've learned that happiness is a journey, not a destination. I've learned that happiness is a matter of perspective and not a given conjuncture.
After 7 years with my lover, friend, husband, my everything as the saying, I've finally embraced happiness and its sweet taste. And is nothing how I imagined. Has nothing to do with money. Nothing to do with material goods or possessions. Happiness lays inside every one of us. We just have to look closer and open our hearts. If not to others, at least be straight to ourselves. And then the happiness will bloom. Your heart will sing, your legs will dance, your body will find its balance.
We are going to step in 2013 in a few hours. I wish you all have the strength to find your your way in 2013 if you're still in the mist or to follow it on if you know the road!
***Happy new year!

Another lesson
Struggling to do whatever we want to do, but you don't always get. And your plans are twisted in a blink. Due to my anemia, last week I collapsed and broke my nasal pyramid on the left side. I was under shock at first, a lot of blood all over, my husband was also shocked this happen. One BIG lesson I have to learn from all this: always care about your health. I knew I am anemic, BUT NEVER EVER thought that I'm gonna collapse! But it happen! And luckily, I was sitting down on the couch edge when happened and not on the feet! Because otherwise I could hurt myself more and broke my head or something...
Anyway, I had the occasion to see how a beaten woman looks like and - more important, how one feels! Because after this, I took my husband (or he took me) to the neurology, and then to CCT and then to EEG. The rest of the patients were looking and wondering what happened with me, because I had some scratches on my face, from the moment I "met" our living room carpet. It feels terrible having people staring at you like that. On my paper was blank on white saying: CCT - cranial-cerebral trauma. Kinda harsh, isn't it? But even when you broke your nose, that is how they call it. Overall, I'm OK, Saint God! My nose will be as new in a couple of weeks, first week I was looking like one of those woman who have been abused, but now I got my face back. I never imagined that a little crack on the side of my nose can do so much harm and can make me look so bad!
OK, that's it! Take care if you know you have problems and do some checks from time to time, even when YOU THINK you're OK.
Back to my quiet world, the Christmas is coming, people! What do you want for Christmas? I know I want more crafts (besides being healthy!!!) and let my imagination go wild next year! Here is one of my sewing projects!

just a quick thought - Letter of the week 9
In spite of everything they say about the crisis and all that hard living situation, my instincts tell me that I have to go. I don't know why and I don't really know how, BUT I have to do it. A part of me screaming for this and I guess I have to pass through this experience on my way here, on Earth. And the reason I feel this way is because I had a meeting with maybe the most 'beaten by the faith' man I've ever met in my life: a man that was at some point more dead than alive and who stood by and believed that he can do it! And HE DID IT! So, what's keeping me back? !
I'll be back :)
I'll be back :)

The thought of moving to Barcelona still pumps in my head and I cannot stop thinking on how it will be to organize my wedding there, right on the beach. With a small audience will be a perfect wedding. ;-) well, perfect for us. And also this one: http://www.barcelonawedding.com/types-of-ceremony/
And I found this beautiful blog with lots of information and things you need for a wedding in Barcelona, but not only, it's a bout weddings in the whole Spain:

And I kiss the rain again
After so many hot summer days, we have rain tonight. It's such a beautiful feeling the moment the rain drops kiss the asphalt. It smells sooo good and feels so natural. All the hot atmosphere is in my bedroom now, and in other bedrooms, because we have 25 degree outside, but inside are at least 29! Saint God we have rain! And that got colder outside otherwise I don't know...
I', going back to my letters, I want to have this finished asap!

Little bit of this, little bit of that
We all have dreams, and hopes, and wishes, and we all hope that this or that is going just the way we want it to be. But sometimes you don't get what you want. Sometimes your way is full with surprises, not always pleasant. And when you get that, you tend to blame the destiny or you call yourself a bad-luck person. BUT the fact is that you get what you deserve in life, and if you go out load and all you can give is misfortune and bad thoughts, guess what you're about to receive back?!
I have that fall over the stairs and I'm recovering pretty well and fast after it. At least, I think so. I went to see the doctor and the doctor didn't recomemnd to go and do a x-ray. But I'm going to see her again this Thursday and ask her (again) if it's really not the case to run some x-ray. I'm not a doctor (just yet!), but I can say I'm better then the other day. I have a light pain, which I think it's pretty normal, talking into consideration the fall and the area where it's located. After all, we are talking about my spine here. And the spine supports all the body, all the moves, all the reactions. I am LUCKY, LUCKY, LUCKY! I am tell you this once more BECAUSE I really definitively feel that way. I can walk and I walk pretty good and pretty fast, I just don't want to make any rush movements to put in jeopardy my already damaged spine.
I can say and see this is happening for a reason: all my life I've being trying to figure it out what is what I need to do to be happy, to fulfil my dreams, my wishes, my goal. And yes, this is the problem, I do NOT know what is my personal goal. And nobody can actually find it for me. I have to do it by myself. There are - yes - people that help you recognize your goal, your wishes (yeah, some of us don't even know what they wish for!), your goals and so on. BUT they cannot tell you what to choose, or if they do so, they are broking the holy individual right of being objective, they are broking the law of arbitration by which every single person on this Earth should only choose for himself and not let others decide for him, letting aside children or disorder people. Even though I believe children should also choose for themselves, parents or tutors being the ones that help them decide, but only by seeing what the kid actually wants and have a gift for, not guiding the little one driven by the parents interests, wishes (to become a doctor, for example), etc.
I'm leaving you with this: Live your life as you want it to be lived now, and don't wait any other moment. Don't wait for tomorrow, for the perfect house, perfect job, perfect husband or wife, perfect marriage (I've heard that too!) or perfect WHAT-SO-EVER! You LIVE FOR NOW, don't waste any minute. And when I say that I mean to live by the good laws of mankind: be kind, be honest, be open, be friendly, do no harm, be magnificent! Be whatever you want to be, just don't hurt other people, because it may come right after you at some point, when you least expect!

Ring, ring!
This phone call should ring my bell: it's time to conceive a baby!
A dear friend of mine, who is trying so hard to conceive a baby for about 2 years now, has just phoned. She's been through many surgeries and procedures, but still she cannot get pregnant. Her husband is potent, but the spermatozoons are not quite so 'jumping' as they should be, and one of her fallopian tube is sunken. :(
I cannot help wondering how it will be for us, but I have a clue: we will have NO problem at all in conceiving a baby! :-) I know that deep inside my heart, it's like something my angels told me and I truly believe it is so.
05/15/2012 - 5:52pm,
I just sent the other two files that needed revision (and they actually needed a lot of revision!) and now I'm back to my daily translation!

A new project
While writing this post can't help wondering how fast will I finish this new project: I'm waiting for the texts to be sent by email, about 30.000 characters for translation (15 pages) and 20.000 (10 pages) for reviewing. And I'm a little bit anxious about it, even if I know what the text look like, because the person who wants them translated sent me a sample of it last week, on Friday. Now, we shall see. :-)
LATER EDIT:
And the work started a few minutes later when I've received the first 3 files for revision. I returned the job after an hour, the texts were pretty short and general, so I was easy for me to correct them and deliver.
Now I'm on 'round two', with another two large files, one it's 7 pages and the other 13 pages long. I'll deliver them by tomorrow, so I have to go back to work. Not to mention I still have my usual daily on going project text that I have to deliver by tomorrow at 10AM.
I am love. I am happy. I can do it. I am a YES person!

Letter of the week (4) - I know you from somewhere
We've spent a very nice Saturday in the park, first in the morning, then we come back in the evening. And the evening walk was even more delightful because of the soft wind blowing so nice after a hot day. If the evening walk was dedicated to move and stretch&yoga poses, the morning one was for hot pictures. Yes, I love this HOT word: HOT!!! It's already summer here, we love to walk in the park and wear soft transparent clothes. I have a lots of pictures today, about 30 or so, but only a few we really to die for. One of them is shown below and I gotta tell you I'm getting obsessed with detail photography! I love putting details in the focus and transform a simple ordinary photo into a stunning one!
I know you from somewhere is the title for the Letter of the week, but I have no inspiration nor the time to write this now. It's almost midnight and I'm pretty tired. I'll get back to this, I have so much to tell you!

I am LOVE (Building my future)
This is when my future starts. As I've told you, I thing I've manage to figure it out what is what I want: to have a flexible, home, online-like job and to work from where ever I want and whenever I want, to be able to choose my working time, when to sleep, when to eat, when to work! And all this are soooo possible right now, right in this moment! It all starts in here, starts right now! I have to believe this and make it true as no body is going to believe it for me, and even so, I HAVE TO believe in it! So I've decided to do more work and actually do what I want: handmade earrings and accessories and then sell them to people that appreciates the art of uniqueness at a fair price for me and for them. And I've just realized WHY I haven't sold anything until now: is because I haven't trust myself for what I am, a pure, unique person with beautiful, magnificent talent of doing special things. I work with LOVE. I am love!
This is what I most want to know. WHAT IS MY DESTINY? Why I am on this Earth? Why I came here? What is my mission? I have to find the answer at that question and in order to do that I'll have to follow my intuition, let go with the wind, with the race...be here, right here and right now. I cannot be somewhere else, but NOW. let the show begin!

When the sun comes up
I like early mornings. Correction: I love them! It's that part of the day that has such an incredible energy and you feel you have a long way ahead. You can drink your coffee and set for the day, build up your schedule and see what's do be done for the day. Mornings have something special, like also have the late nights. But I realize this feeling has to do with the ones biorhythm - not all people are full of energy in the morning. I like to be up very early just because the sun invades my bedroom with its light, and I have a yellow-orange wall where the sun rays create magnificent spectacular appearance. I like early mornings with coffee and biscuits, in front of my computer setting the tasks for the day. I love summer early mornings and now that we are getting over winter, I have to say I'm anxious for summer to come because being March already transformed the day from a short one to a pretty long-light one! :-)
I'm gonna bring my coffee and then I'll get back to some writing expecting to be finished!

And there it was
When you think we are looking and keep looking for answers all over the place, when they are deep inside us and deep...near us. At hand. We just need that state of mind to let them out. So earlier today I was listening quite buddha bar like music and there it hit me! Why don't I and can't I leave the country?! The answer was right in front of my eyes, my counscious was answering me all the questions in the world. It is because here I can still go out and still can pay my bills and still can buy some fancy (not brand, though!) clothes. Because if I move I might have to work my ass very hard every single day to pay my rent, pay my bills, pay for food and all this. Here I have a part of them as I don;t have to pay rent and the living house facilities.
I'll be back later, it's a sunny day and I want to enjoy it with my lover.
Last night to went to see a play at the Nottara. it was fantastic. Later with details!

Precious Life and Precious Moments
I was just doing my routine when I hear the phone ring. I pick up the phone and answered: at the other side was my dear friend, calling me back after we had a short talk earlier today. She was at work and couldn't talk bacause she was about to go on air.
After hearing what she was saying, I stood a moment and thought about what she said: a dear friend and colleague has cancer and she is mixed up with feelings, wondering how she may help and so many other things going through her mind. I've listened her voice while my mind was giving the verdict: I am perfectly happy and I can yell out loud so every singly man can hear me! I AM HAPPY! I am healthy! I am incredibly lucky! I am loved! I am blessed to live the life I live! Yes I am! And as I was ending the conversation, I knew I am in the right moment, in the right position, in the perfect time of my life. I don't have kids, but I will be a mother one day. I am not married, but I don't want to be married so much. After all, what is that - a paper you cannot use! Why get married!? When talking about kids, that's something else, but marriage? Why do it when I don't need it? I am perfectly well as I am and I'm glad and thankful for all I have!
God bless you all!
